Overview

The FireStore DR-HD100 is a solid-state tapeless recorder designed to replace MiniDV tape with direct-to-disk recording. Perfect for creators who want a DV tapeless recording solution while keeping their classic cameras fully operational.

Compatible with most DV/HDV camcorders via IEEE-1394, it captures footage straight to digital files, reducing capture time, mechanical wear, and dropouts. The unit records to an internal HDD, mounts as an external drive for quick transfer, and integrates smoothly into older editing workflows.

The DR-HD100 features multiple recording formats, instant playback, timecode support, and a rugged design suitable for field production. Ideal for professionals, skate filmmakers, documentary shooters, and anyone wanting a modern workflow for legacy DV gear.

Note: FireWire cable is not included but can be supplied on request. The device uses 6-pin FireWire (6-pin to 4-pin for most DV cameras).
